American Robin
American Robin- Turdus migratorius
| American Robin- Turdus migratorius, Order PASSERIFORMES - Family TURDIDAE. I resisted long enough! I had been ignoring these very common birds. But.......... "The robin is the most widespread thrush in North American thanks to a tolerance for human-modified habitats. The American Robin eats both fruit and invertebrates. Earthworms are important during the breeding season, but fruit is the main diet during winter." Found year round in Ohio. This Robin was captured while on Miami University's campus.
